On September 10, 2005, the Universal American School in Dubai opened its doors and welcomed 250 students to purpose-built, state-of-the art, 65,000 sq. meter campus in Dubai Festival City. UAS is now in its third year of existence, with over 800 students from 70 countries compromising its student body. UAS has gained full accreditation from the Middle State Association of Colleges and Schools, and become authorized to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IB DP). UAS is managed by Educational Services Overseas Limited (ESOL), a school management organization that operates some of the region’s leading American schools. ESOL’s schools include The American International School in Abu Dhabi, The American International School in Egypt, and The American International School in Cyprus.
